Building a Regionally-Focused Workforce Strategy

The accredited Business Solutions Professional Training & Certification project offers participants the opportunity to learn the Business Solutions Process, a business focused demand driven approach, that blends economic development, education and workforce development assets to assist businesses in retaining current workers, creating jobs, and providing support that will allow the business to compete in the global market and attract new business.

The development of the Business Solutions Professional (BSP) training was initiated as one component of Michigan's 21st Century Workforce Initiative. Funding for curriculum design and training was provided by a 21st Century Regional Strategies grant from the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth.
